Tue, Jul 5	Anchorage We'll arrive in Anchorage and get settled into the Hotel Captain Cook for an overnight stay. Join us as we set out to see the shops, restaurants and cultural attractions of this surprisingly metropolitan city.
Wed, Jul 6	Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge This morning, we'll head for the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge via a scenic motorcoach drive. Located just a mile from the entrance to Denali National Park, the lodge is the perfect base camp for exploring the area.
Thu, Jul 7	Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge Today we'll explore Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour watching for glimpses of Denali and Denali's "Big Five"; moose, bears, caribou, Dall sheep and wolves. Later today, you may want to simply relax with a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Nenana River. Meals are on your own for the land portion of the tour, so Jen suggests you visit the Grizzly Burger to indulge in the Ernesto Burger, or grab a quick slice at Lynx Creek Pizza as you relax and unwind tonight and drink in the beauty of the Alaska wilderness.
Fri, Jul 8	Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge Today you can plan your own Denali adventure. You'll have a full day to enjoy a variety of excursions like a husky homestead tour, river rafting, hiking, glacier flightseeing and an off-road ATV adventure. Jen will be happy to book it for you (pre-trip), or you can see what's available and book it at the hotel concierge upon arrival. Your choice! Or you may want to just relax today and enjoy the spectacular main lodge, river view deck, and Princess Village with the popular Christmas cottage and sugar shack. Be sure to check out Fannie Q's Saloon, named after a famed local homesteader. We recommend joining us as we sit outside tonight and enjoy some smore's at the fireside patio to close out our time in the northern Alaska Wilderness.
Sat, Jul 9	Whittier We'll say goodbye to Denali this morning and enjoy a wonderful scenic rail journey through some of the best wilderness on Princess's exclusive Direct-to-the-Wilderness rail service. We'll head toward Whittier, where our cruise ship awaits us. (See below for all the details about our cruise.) (See detailed cruise itinerary on registration page.)

LIVE! Pre-Trip Online Classes (Zoom)

Worried you won't know anyone? Don't worry! You'll have plenty of chances to get to know other travellers in our online pre-trip sessions that I'll be hosting in the weeks leading up to our cruise. We'll get to know each other a bit as well as learn about some of the amazing ports of call we'll be visiting on this bucket list trip! We'll also discuss packing tips and other important information as well. Our clients love these sessions and we're sure you will too! (Dates/times of our sessions will be scheduled well in advance & shared at a later date).

During our pre-trip classes, we'll be sure and cover each of the items that are NOT included in this tour so you have some great suggestions on how to save money.
